Bonus quiz question time! What’s sadder: a) the fact that I instantly recognised that these were lyrics to The Spice Girls’ song Stop; b) that I tsk-tsked the sign and pointed out that no, the correct lyrics are “stop right NOW, thank-you very much, I need somebody with a human touch!”; or c) that I actually had to look up the word “sadder” to ensure that yes, it is definitely a real-life, commonly-accepted, non made-up word, unlike my penchant for frequently using the word “funnest” in a sentence, which is absolutely, 100% not?
